      FTTC and me!

      Basically I want some advice and hopefully contact information (which I've struggled to find) for the recent FTTC enabling within my town.

      All the house and streets surrounding my address can already order FTTC packages. I am connected to the same street side cabinet which
      is up and running and serving. Im currently a Sky Unlimited customer.

      Does anyone know how I can be connected to the same cabinet and be unable to get a Fibre package. Also would love an dedicated Fibre email
      contact with BT/Openreach on why this is.

      Any advice and similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

      I am connected to Fleetwood - Lancashire exchange. and to the roadside cabinet on Chatsworth Avenue, Fleetwood.

      Have you tried the BT Infinity website.

      There may be a number of reasons:
      1) Sky are not yet enabled as an FTTC provider in your exchange
      2) The street cabinet is full and needs upgrading - This takes time and there is no way to contact BTO to get it upgraded (more ports in the cab). There are two street cabs now. Copper - The one you are conencted to just now, and Fibre, the one you want to get connected to.
      3) Sky does not always allow online booking for current customers and a phone call may get you further.
