      Hello Skycarp,
Im connected to a cab in Barlby and whilst my sync is unchanged my throughput has dropped by about 10-12Mb. Re-checking my latency increase it was actually the 29th as that is when the peak on my latency graph was at its highest, so all happened at the same time as yourself. Spoke to Fibre team last night, for a so called techie to admit: "I know nothing about networks really, I put a game disc in and it works, I dont notice anything like latency and stuff." He said I would get a callback tonight after 1800hrs from "someone who knows about this stuff". Well its now way after 2100hrs (Fibre team finished for night) so I guess Im not getting my callback.

      Had the text yesterday.

According to my BQM monitor my BB went down at 04.00am.

Today I see the sky router sr101 is still up and I have a new IP.

Ping has gone from 5ms to 7ms speed is the same.

Oh Joy..... My router rebooted 14 hours ago... ping has gone up to 36ms and my throughput is now only 15mb rather than 36mb (using sky user speedtester).

Phone sky or wait a few more days........

Just an update - my pings and throughput has gone back to normal now....

Angel Rex: Mine was normal the next day (haven't detected any abnormality as yet).

dog-man: I received a text message, but I had also noticed the announcement on the Sky Help Forum page and seen other people posting about this "fibre network upgrade" from about a week before I got the text message.

Re: Sky Upgrading Fibre Network Over Next Few Days

Sky don't know my mobile number so unlikely that I will get a message then whenver they upgrade my area.
They might have already done it as there was a period of a few days when my router was not behaving correctly.
