      Yeah, jeez. My last WAN reset was 06:37:39 ago. The log is now renewing at Dec 8 05:04:32 syslog: Lease renewed 3600.

      Appear the network is working fine now. So it appears that when they update the Fibre network for everybody else, it is an all day thing and may require more than one reboot. Would be nice for Sky to mentio that it is all day and not just an over night thing. Anyway, all is fine for now. Going to reboot my router to reset the timers and everything.

      @SKYCARP,

      I'm on the same exchange as you, my ping has also doubled from 14-16ms to 29-33ms. I have a Samknows box and the increase for me happened on the 28 Nov 12 at 12:30pm. I know it doesnt' help matters but I'm glad to know I'm not alone. It shows its a Sky problem and not a local one, unless we are on the same cabinet.

      Im on the littlehampton exchange and the exact same thing has happened here. Pings were normally 8-12 now cant get lower than 26. Web pages seem sluggish as well so im hoping that sky have temporarily put users on a backup route whilst the backhaul is upgraded. If not then BUGGER!

      The "Announcement" was still on the Sky Help Forum home page last night so, unless that's now gone, I suppose we can only assume it's still ongoing (in the total absence of any further comment or explanation from Sky)!

      Re: Sky Upgrading Fibre Network Over Next Few Days

      tbh I cannot see this happening for much longer, Sky always lock down the network etc (including FW and TV updates etc) for a few weeks over Xmas to save on support etc whilst people are on hols etc
