      Sky Fibre Pro Connected - No Internet Access

      Hi
      This morning we have no Internet access, the BTO Modem is connected with DSL light lit, when I query the Sky Hub it says connected at 79999 and connection is working, yet none of the computers, sky+ box or Xbox can access the Internet. All items have an IP address and DHCP is active.

      The phone line is working...

      does anyone have any ideas?

      It appears from the Sky Forum that it may be a UK wide outage on Fibre....

      Yeah I'm down, in Buckinghamshire area. It's all lit up but won't load a thing. DNS problem I think.

      Working fine here (Sky Fibre Unlimited) on the Scarborough exchange.

      It's down in Warwickshire aswell, out of interest what causes this?

      Could it be a Sky DNS server issue? Not at home right now but Mrs S reports all ok at the moment. However we do have OpenDNS servers in the network settings on our computers. Could be a temporary workaround maybe.

      Same here on Bury exchange.

      Called them at 7am and after being on hold for 20 mins was told Fibre team don't start till 8:30! Useless IVR system, Sky seem to treat Fibre as some freak standalone product.

      I noted the Sky Service page says no issues with Broadband? Or is there a separate fibre page?
