      Intermittent router issue

      Hi guys

      Basically, every week or so, our router (2504n) decides to disconnect all of our wifi devices, and they can't reconnect until I reboot the router.

      The first couple of times, this was just a slight nuisance, but it's becoming frustrating now. I've spoken to Sky Customer Service about this twice now, done everything they've suggested (changed channel and a couple of other settings) to no avail, so thought I'd try on here for any suggestions. We've had Fibre since June, and it's very tempting to just buy a new router, but I don't feel I should have to when the current one is only a few months old.

      So basically, I'm open to ideas.

      have you tried inSSIDer Discover The Wi-Fi Around You | MetaGeek to find the least congested channel for your area?

      I haven't tried this. Why would channel issues be causing my issue? I'm not sure how, if the channel was the problem, that rebooting the router would fix the issue when it still uses the same fixed channel after the reboot?
