      Hi

      Just a quick question had fibre installed today and working fine Router is showing 39992 down & 2000 up which is what the chap from open reach said but should the up be more than that or is it all my line can manage. BT guy also said i could get up to 110mb down is that possible .

      Also whats the best speed checker to use.

      I had the same problem on my new install on friday, with the 2mb upload limit, sky are looking onto it (so they say) its a problem effecting a fair few of new customers (so they say),

      I called and spoke to the Sky Fibre team and I suggest you do the same. Apparently they have put a procedure in place to sort this out, although I called on the 14th and nothing has changed yet on my connection.

      Just call the normal Sky number or try 08442 411 653, select Broadband faults and ask to be put through to the Fibre team. They finish at 9 PM though so give them a try tomorrow.

      Same here!

      I got connected yesterday and am on 40/2.
      I rang to query this and was told it was a known fault and would take a week to correct.

      I'm not overly impressed, but I guess I can wait a week and see what happens...

      Go on the Sky official forum, there's a thread I started on there and my profile was reset within a couple of days.
