Struggling to use my Billion 7800N with sky fibre

I have followed instructions from the Billion website several times but it never works for me. I just get an orange internet light.

Has anyone here managed to get one working?

      Please explain how?

Think I might have sussed it.

The mac address on the rear of the router is so low down on the sticker that E's look like F's.

      So will try yet again.

Re: Struggling to use my Billion 7800N with sky fibre

The 7800N has a different interface but I will have a look tomorrow if I have time.

I have been following a guide which is specifically for my router but no joy.

I will also try reflashing the router tomorrow.

I wonder if I should also try rebooting the modem, but as it was only installed today, I suppose DLM is happening and I don't want to bugger that up.

Was using the wrong firmware on the Billion.

Maybe you need to put your specs and lipstick back on.
