      Changing IP address

Quite a few people have tried to change their IP addresses recently on a few posts I've read.

Before login in. I've found that if I access my router and click the reboot router tab on the right hand menu.
Then log in as normal, to start the reboot, a little warning appears saying you will lose connection if you continue.
Then after the reboot, my IP address changes every time.

Not sure if it will work for everyone, but might help people out if you don't want your router turned off for a long period of time.

I would definitely be careful not to do it too many times though.

      Re: Changing IP address

This has been tried in the past when sticky IP Addresses were reported last year.

It doesn't work 100% of the time with everyone.

Another trick was to use the Router Diagnostics and test your connection. Again this didn't work all the time.

      Re: Changing IP address

A lot will depend on how many addresses are available in your pool. If there are a lot available you might get a change every time, if there are few you might never get a change.
