    Back up to original speed.....

      Back up to original speed.....

      Got rid of 176 ip, now back up to original speed.....

      Kept turning BT Modem off for the day then turning on when back from work (Wife and kids away on holiday), took 3 days though, on a 94. ip now so back to full speed.......

      So it could be the troublesome 176 ip that is giving people the speed problems... I've always had the 176 number so i might have to try your trick

      Just a thougt...

      Perhaps 176 fails in some areas and 94 in others?

      Well the 176 ip is definately failing down my area, i get 37 meg (sometimes) on speedtest.net and btspeedtester, but others i get 25/28 meg

      Throughput is bad for the connection though just 2.5/30 at the mo

      I have 176 IP and still pulling 7.3MB/s

      Does it only happen with people who have the 176 ip because my internets speed been going mental and it keeps sort of randomly disconnecting but is that due to the 1/2 speed problem or my Wireless adapter

      I've had the same 176.xxx.xxx.xxx address since fibre went live on 04/07 and am getting consistent 75Mb/s down, 15Mb/s up whatever the time of day or night so it's not necessarily the IP range.
