OP - If money is little object, you could get a second phone line, get a second sky fibre connection and bond the two lines together. effextively 2x50mb lines runninng as 1 x 100mb line.

Little or no point tho imo

Glad your happy with the product tho! thats the main thing

Don't even know if you can bond Fibre lines.

It used to be that you could only bond "fixed rate" lines, i.e. 2Mbps ADSL lines, not ADSL Max for example.

There is a member on this forum who has successfully bonded two BT lines to 100mb odd.

      Re: even faster?

I wouldn't mind 125Mb/40Mb either, but 100 new line, extra 40 a month, not sure my wife would like that

      Re: even faster?

      lol. true.
but if I can get faster then great even if it is bonding but price must be reasonable. just wish we werent so behind in the internet. apperently we are far ahead than in the US would you believe, of all places!

also wish I could get nearer than 60MB+ but if there are newer speeds coming out, it wont make any difference to me as my line cant support it. so the only options are:

      1) move closer to the exchange (yeh, right)
      2) build an exchange next to my home (yeh, right)
      3) bond.

is it me or does bonding sound like a dirty word? (bondage!)

Nice thought, but Sky Broadband is only allowed to be installed for one instance, per address.

      1. Sky Broadband and who can get it

      (a) We offer a number of broadband subscription products ("Products"). Full details of the Products available from time to time are set out on www.sky.com/broadband .
      (b) Availability of Products will vary depending upon your location.
      (c) To take Sky Broadband you must be 18 years old or over and your home must be in an area of the UK where Sky Broadband is accessible. If you are a Sky TV customer and your Sky TV viewing is suspended or ends under the terms of your Sky TV Contract for any reason (other than where we are at fault), we may also suspend or end (as applicable) the provision of Sky Broadband on giving you notice in writing. If this happens, we will confirm with you whether you wish to transfer your broadband service to another provider.
      (d) Sky Broadband will be provided to you at the address of your home in the UK that you notify to us from time to time ("Address"). You can only have one Sky Broadband subscription at your Address.

      Re: even faster?

hmm. raises the question if you can get around that.... you could have one connection in a room. then another connection in a different room as you would be "house sharing"....

Well my understanding is that if you did that then you would still be at the same address?

The only real way around it is to have some flats made in your house then you could have several address details and then hijack one of the connections and bond it.

Saying that though, why would you need so much speed anyway?
