Might be because you regraded from 80/20, you might now be at the back of the line
Keep doing speed test every so often and hopefully it should be with you soon.

Re: Sky Fibre Unlimited - Free Upload Increase As From July For All Customers

Mine has only increased from 1.97 up to 3.1 up but never mind who knows it might improve as this is the first day of noticing an increase. I even bought an HG612 BT modem to see if I could access it to get line stats but cannot even get into that as it wont respond to the reset or let me access the Modems webpage!!

Could I ask if I bought a decent short RJ11 lead to go from BTO modem to master socket would replacing this affect my speed synch downwards. I ask this cos my synch speed was 35176 but now its just over 29000. I rebooted to pick up the new upload speed. Mind you I havent acheieved over 29mb/s since the BT engineer was here in June. Strange though as he said my line would give 33mb/s and showed me the test device he used, so wonder why the difference?

unless your current modem cable is damaged, it would make zero difference.

Re: Sky Fibre Unlimited - Free Upload Increase As From July For All Customers

Checked mine this morning and I'm getting 38.8Mbps down/6.34Mbps up. Seems a bit low on the upload as when the BTO guy installed it under the trial he said the line was top notch.

I turned off the Sky router and resynched it which changed the connection speed to 7034kbps in the stats page. Should I also restart the BTO modem as well? If so is it a sequence of Sky router off, BTO modem off then BTO modem on, Sky router on?

I've also just regraded from 80/20 and am still on 2 meg upload.

As Fryingpan77 says we might now be at the back of the line for the upload increase - I think they're just punishing us for downgrading

Restart BTO modem should not be necessary (mine didn't need it), but that would be the correct sequence if you want/need to do it.

While I love the free upgrade my damn ping has now gone from 9ms to 26ms (when pinging bbc.co.uk_

      Ping statistics for 212.58.241.131:

I have checked the telnet stats and they are similar if not better to what they were before.... no idea why this has increased It was only 17ms before when it went up....
