Hey must have been a wide area power outage then as I went off also, must have been switching lines to do PM's on gear. I got the same rate's as before after the power came back on. There is a lot of chat about this problem on another forum about this, yet again it seems very hit or miss.

Re: Difference between Max Attainable Rates and Actual Sync Rate

Well my max attain. Is 45000/7500

I was installed in march and moved and rebooted the modem a few times, this caused the sync to drop from 39997/1999 to varying between 36574 - 38818. It never once went back up to 39997. My ping also went from 9ms to 18ms.

Partly this was due to a line error which was fixed by bt in April. After the fix the dlm.didn't fix the line and increase the speed.

Since the re grade my line has obviously been reset, I'm now synced back at 39997/7624 and my ping on cmd to BBC.co.UK is 9ms again!

Let's hope it sticks this time, I certainly won't be rebooting the modem.....

My sync dropped after power cut, I left it over night and hadn't gone back, so I rebooted first thing this morning and sync as returned to what it was
