Unconfirmed: Sky Hub could be released next week.

As for price: SFUP I believe is Sky Line Rental + 30. Also there is the 50 installation fee, which some are getting waived when they question it.

SFUP has to be ordered by phone at the present time.

I was given an estimate of 66mb before the install. When installed I got 76mb/16mb!

Unless you have been connected for more than 10 days, it might go down. With Fibre DLM seems to start at its highest speed then work its way down to the highest stable speed. Some have also reported that as the Fibre cabinet fills up with users, their speed goes down.

      Re: Just orderd Pro

When it comes to ordering, I'm definately going to question it. Have been with Sky for donkeys years now and even resigned a 12 month Unlimited contract a while back when I were making changes. Also moving to Sky Talk, obviously. Should be easy to get the 50 waived, seems a bit stupid to be charging an existing customer a fee for upgrading, but then again, what I'm saying could be utter nonsense.

      Re: Just orderd Pro

Found this on the Sky Forum Installation Costs. One user suggests that new users get the install fee and upgraders are free...?

      Re: Just orderd Pro

We have had posts from both existing and new customers claiming to have been charged and having had them fees waived.

Essentially you will need to be nice and call to see what you can get.

Do search around for different offers as well. Various sites offer different discounts. At this moment there is an advert on this forum offering you up to 25 worth of M&S vouchers for signing up to Sky fibre as an existing customer.
