Not just football. Lots of things. The jubilee concert. The apprentice. With social media the way it is, it's almost impossible to avoid knowing the result of something before you watch it on delay. I tried to watch the apprentice on delay but always ended up finding out the winner accidentally thru either Facebook or twitter. For that reason, I'd find it difficult to getthe same enjoyment.

Fair enough. I waited till the apprentice was done each time before i watched it. Doesn't bother me. The rest you mentioned fall under the same reaction as football for me.

Are you sure about that. Sky movies on sky go, watching the channel live does require a license. Or have I misunderstood your viewing again?

If you only subscribe to the Movies you don't get any live channels to watch. You only get a search box and ones to stream.

Well that's all I get anyway. There is no watch live option.

Ah I see. You mean you're watching anytime+ via sky go where you watch movies on demand.

Yes sir.. That's what I meant. So only on demand so I believe I am not doing anything wrong.

Re: Are you Caning Your Sky Fibre Connection?

You are correct about not requiring a TV License if you watch only streamed material which isn't live.

There are apps to allow you to watch live content on iPlayer for phones and tablets. Another example would be the TV Catchup website, which actually asks if you have a TV License before using it.

However, Sky Go can stream live content on phones and tablets. Currently it doesn't on the computers. You can get Sky Go if you are a Sky TV subscriber for free. I can't recall for the moment if there is a subscription service, but since you can use it to view live TV, a license will be required.

As for watching Anytime+ on Sky, sure this isn't live TV, but you need a Sky+ HD STB to access the content. This means that it must be connected to the Satellite dish. If it isn't I suspect that the service could be locked out. With your STB connected to the dish, then you would once more be in a position where you could view live content and a TV license would be required.
