Yep I got it too. Which is funny because the exchange is (allegedly) being upgraded next month.

I think its safe to say this email went to some people in error, it could be a case of under promise (with the email) and then over deliver (next week getting a call or email saying ahhhh now you can get it)

This reminds me of a story reported in Computer Weekly back in the early 90's, a certain large high street bank wanted to do a mailshot to their top 5000 investors and the programmer in charge of it set up a test account under the name of Mr Rich B*****d to check it was all working OK. Unfortunately something went wrong and their top 5000 investors were all sent letters that started off "Dear Mr Rich B*****d".

I have seen something similar in real life where I was working some years ago. What happened was that it was a test run using live data with just the names changed but the letters got posted out by mistake (because they didn't have a "test - do not post" watermark overprint) instead of being returned to the programmer.

Mistakes happen and lessons are invariably learned (sometimes)!

Oh, er, I'd just like to point out that I definitely was NOT that programmer...

I remember getting one of these emails, although I am sure it was addressed Mr Poor B*****d
