Speedtest for those results. Just downloaded a big game with Steam and it peaked at 3.5MB/s

I thought that was the case. Will Sky listen to me though or tell me to wait 10 days?

Ethernet or wireless? Wireless speeds can jump around a lot.

What's your speed on the official BT Tester?

      Speedtesting gives me inconsistent results.

Usenet gives me 7.2MB/s no matter what time of day I use it, so that's a better test imo.

Eternet, the BT tester would not work for me.

That's strange, it works for me with SVBN. It should work with a fibre line which is basically BT Wholesale, which is what the site is for. Did you click the 'Above 24Mb Speedtest (beta)' link.

I tried it on my desktop and it worked, though that is on wireless. I will try again on the laptop and if it does not work I will attempt to run a cable from the router to my desktop to try it out.

re: Sky Admits fault with Sky and BT network resulting in slow connects @ 1/2 speed

I ran another test today and got 37.92 down, 7.25 up and 0ms ping with the BT tester. Speedtest gave me 36.31 down, 8.12 up and 14ms. Does this sound about right or should I be expecting more?
