Sorry I'm not familiar with that BT guard proxy thing. Sounds like its some sort of protection thing like Peer Guardian? If so you don't really need it if you're on higher level private trackers.

Private tracker sites often block Proxy Addresses.

However you should always take precautions on any torrent site, whether private or public.

i'm a HDbits member which is pretty tough, but bonus points help a bit. i'm also a FTN member which is supposed to be a high level, but thats ration free with minimum seed time. if you have TL and What / waffles your pretty covered for most things.

i only use usenet, hdbits, TL and Trancetraffic now

You are correct BT guard is a proxy protection utility, instead of going to your ip address, all the torrent traffic goes to some place in canada instead...

Thats an impressive portfolio you have there!

I don't want to break rules by promoting a specific torrent site, but I would like to discuss some.

The first one you mentioned is my primary target now. The second one mentioned I had a chance to join but didn't as I'm not a fan of scene stuff and due to having no issues with hard drive space on my server prefer to download full untouched blurays, remuxes or big encodes, and this explains my primary target choice!

This second one mentioned, is the community anything to write home about at all like I've heard?

I'll see you on the last one you mentioned, and I prefer Ip* to T*. I'm also in the 2 'W' music trackers you mentioned, and I'm considering looking at the lossless tracker P****S or even E**** but not sure I'm ready for them yet nor if I can be bothered to become an uploader/ripper.

At the moment I'm a big fan of the 2 biggest chinese HD trackers I mentioned in my other post.

Never tried usenet, not sure how I would benefit whilst I have a seedbox.

Are you also on any torrent invite forums? I am on the one that doesn't like trading or selling that ends in .com.

Oh I see. But yeah like Scubbie said, I think most private trackers don't like proxys being used and that could well be slowing things down even if the tracker allows proxy servers. Are you on public or private trackers?

"Invites are disabled for the moment. May never come back" been like this for ages! a lot of the latest blockbuster BDs seem to originate from the chinese sites which get the internal encode treatment.

dont use it, not logged in for several weeks. forums are very quiet... though pleasant enough.

not a member of P, but E is a dying site which i rarely login to!!! if you are a member of the 2 Ws, you would be massively disappointed with E!!!

not a member, offered invites to them... but to much pressure on uploading / downloading for me

3 per month for unlimited download was a no brainer for me, though you wouldn't benefit with a seedbox
