Just a quick question regarding this, after my install this morning I did a test and if you look in my sig it says Manchester~200 miles. When you do the test it shows a little chap stood in the Southeast corner of the UK and a Prism near whichever server you choose. So my question is, how come it says Manchester ~200 miles when in reality I'm only about 10 miles away ?
Or I am just being thick (you don't need to answer that bit)

This has happened to me, I am about 20 miles from Manchester and it used to say less than 50 miles, I can't remember what it says now but it increased a lot. Doing the speedtest to London it now says less than 50 miles lol I imagine the connection simply take a different path once you're connected to Fibre. A tracert pre and post fibre install confirms it. Nothing to worry about.

It will go on your IP address, some of them are quite accurate whereas others are obviously not.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

As said its based on your IP address. I did one speedtest and it said I was basically in Scotland. Rebooted my router, gained a new IP address and I was in London this time I am actually right in the middle
