The v6 CD had a Video to help someone set up their router, various annoying "tools" to help you to connect to the Internet, the AV software that Sky promotes (you can pay Sky to continue to use this after any free trial) and a copy of the first working firmware for the router with the software to install it.

      Ok,

Engineer visited - Fibre installed - woohoo

40Mb to house, speedtested around 35Mb. What is the best site to compare speeds please, for speed testing?

Also, he said my link can go up to 71Mb...nice

Finally, he mentioned that Infinity 2 will eventually go up to 300Mb! But that is FTTP!

      Woot!

      Doobs.

speedtest.net if you must, though I'd prefer seeing "real world" tests.

Go download XP SP3 from Microsoft or something (that's a nice 300Mb download)

Though Windows 7 SP1 is the other side of 1Gb

4.6MB/s is a good speed to be getting.

Just out of curiosity what was the speed quoted on the BT Wholesale checker against the 71Mb he quoted?

Re: Fibre Install today - waiting on bto engineer

I'm all done too, left an hr or so ago

37mb PING 15ms seems around average a few eratic results but will settle down in days. Engineer said can get 70mb easily.

      Very quick install and connection.

Streaming 2 1080p movies effortlessly at the moment, while ONLIVE 720p game streaming as well!!

Will try out some downloads later.

      Seriously happy bunny here
