Thanks pal. Its been rock solid all day. Speed tests never drop below 36. Still haven't had chance to play with it properly. Maybe at the weekend. I was well surprised with the speed, because the cab I'm connected too is so far away. I was dreading him saying that one. 900m by road. Must take a short cut somewhere. I thought, no chance of getting in the 30s never mind what I got. Can reach the 56 mark but I'm happy with what I've got. All the best for your install. Then get your stats on the board

Thats excellent. I am expecting some big numbers on mine then based on what you have said. I will of course post details when I get it sorted.

      Yeah, wouldn't it be great?

Trouble is once a forum is opened up to all it just invites the haters and the flamers and the just plain idiots who will spoil it all and drive the company on to the defensive.

The nearest I have seen to good interaction is the closed forum on the new EPG on the Sky Help website - but that only involves 400 or so participants and even then there are clearly a few self-interested folk with their own agendas who just try to ruin things it for the rest.

Anyone else seen and advantage to setting WANoE only?

QOS still gives a small gain in upload

no actual speed increases setting to WANoE Only, in my case, but when you reboot the router for whatever reason it will find the connection to the BTO modem quicker as it doesnt need to search for an adsl connection

      Hiya mate,
When did sky fibre come to our exchange then?? When I was checking it was only BT there. I was the same as you 1.5Mb. Wish I knew Sky was there would have been interesting. Noted now for the future.

Not much difference apart from the ping, not bad considering the cab is pretty far away.
