Now I'm worried. Being that I live in a flat the post boxes are in a lobby by the main entrance, so there is nowhere to leave it. I get things sent recorded every week, and the postie always takes it back to the depot and I rearrange delivery, not today apparently. I'm praying this hasn't gone walkies!
I wouldn't panic just yet, wait till you get home and see if they have left a red slip. I was told the tracker would still update as "Delivered" even if it was left with a neighbour. The problem I had is that they left no red card and my neighbours didn't receive anything.

If there's no red card when you get home, send me a PM and I'll give you the direct telephone number of the delivery manager of the Romford depot that was given to me and she should be able to carry out a search.

A parcel like the router won't get delivered by your regular postie. They send it out in the vans so don't go to hard on him.

      Re: Parcel Force

I'm obviously going to wait and see until I get home. Just as a rule, 99% of the time the postie takes it back to the depot and leaves me a card. This time it's been delivered? They never usually leave it with neighbours etc. As I say time will tell. I don't fancy chasing around for it like dankargo had to.

      Re: Parcel Force

It will depend on the individual Post Office and the postie covering your route. The package is light and small enough to be carried in the panniers that many have on their push bikes.

Some posties are quite lazy and may not be able to put is in their pouches for a normal delivery. Others are good old "die hards" and will carry it in their pouch come rain or shine.

I thought you meant to say 'quiet', implying that one is lazy but doesn't want to make a song and dance about it.
