People seem to be finding they are syncing and throughputting higher than quoted, however I believe it has been mentioned before the figure quoted is what you would most likely end up with once the cabinet is full!

I have certainly seen mine dropt from 37.5 to 35mb, not massive but i was quoted 34.5mb.

So its still not been confirmed if you can revert back to 40/2 as the last thing i would want is to upgrade and then being stuck with it

Paulkerdot, page up said their is a 30 day cooling period and you can revert back. He asked that specific question.

just spoke to a lovely person in the fibre team called "jodie" and she advised that i AM able to downgrade up untill 31 days even though she said this i think i will have a think before going ahead as the 38mb am getting now is pretty impressive as it is..

just out of curiosity what sort of download speeds would i get on 80mb package as the best i have gotten from my firbe unlimted is 4.6mb

If you go on the BT infinity checker it should give you a rough Idea. People have had speeds of 9MB/s. See what you quote is here.

BT Infinity – super fast broadband with a fibre optic internet connection

EDIT. Should have said, whatever your quote is, divide it by 8 and you get your download in MB
