      Doobs...
Might be a case of once bitten twice shy. I wouldn't imagine anybody with the half speed problems would risk more heartache. If their is a cooling off period and you could revert back to 40/2, I would probably go for the upgrade then downgrade again just to reset my line and see if it cured the problem. Quicker than getting BTO engineers out.

You beat me to saying that... So who can confirm on the cool down time? Is it 30 days?

      Doobs

Great minds think alike..... Don't know how I thought of it

Somebody said you can downgrade, somebody said you can't. If your not getting good speeds on pro, I don't see how they could keep you on it, but they do tell you your estimated speed so it would be up to you if you took it and signed on for a year.

To be fair when I rang the Fibre team, the lady was almost dubious to sign me up with an estimate of 53. I asked her to go ahead because my max rate is much higher.

Invaluable piece of information is that max rate!

Did she mention if you can go back to 40/2 if you wasn't a happy chappy.

I was told there is a 30 day cooling off period as I asked the specific question.

We just need a brave half speeder to have a go and see if it works. If they get a successful upgrade close to 80/20 they might not want to go back

Right on the money, was quoted 80/20 and that's what I receive.
