Re: Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro Rumour

Seems like mine isnt yet fully activated or something. Current download speeds hovering at about 38mb, but upload speeds of around 13.

Router shows sync speed as 79999 20000 (may be one or two extra numbers as i didnt copy and paste)

      EDIT.....
My connection to the net did drop out at 00:07 but i have just reset the BTO box, and then the sky router and the speeds have now changed (speedtest.net) to 60.3 and 14.5, happy for the first few hours of the connection at least!

Re: Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro Rumour

      Here we go: -

      DownStream 71176 kbps
      UpStream 20000 kbps

      /drools

I needed to reset my BTO box despite it showing connection at 71xxx because devices were only running at 40 max. I reset the Sky router for good measure too.

      Dear lord.

Real world throughput appears to be 8MB/s on the nose, in fact!

Needed to reset my modem too. My router is synced at 49394/18767. Real world speeds below. Speedtest is ok at 6.45 am!! I knew my download wouldn't be that much better but my the upload is

BBC iplayer speed test registers 46113 so 10 Meg increase download and 13meg increase upload.

Above is a wireless test. Too early in the morning to be bothered wiring up stuff.

Yeah, am looking forward to the upload. I'm often connecting into my network from outside, so the upload will be a godsend!

      Very happy camper.

I now have an inferiority complex with my 46 meg. Need to move house to be closer to the cabinet.

Re: Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro Rumour

so from what i gather how accurate were sky from what they said you would be getting on fibre pro and to what your actually getting as when i done speedchecker they said my line can only handle 55mb so as am now getting 38mb not sure if its even worth upgrading for the extra 17mb
