Booooooooo, Max attainable rate now 70Mbit. Bah. If it drops below 60 I'll have a hard time forking out another 10 a month for it.

Mine also drops to around 65 at a certain time in the day, every day, for around 6 hours. Otherwise it's capable of around 100meg. Obviously some external interference is causing a massive drop on my line at certain times of the day, won't be getting Fibre Pro now, especially as I can see DLM kicking in probably setting Interleaving on my line which is something I do NOT want. Low Latency all the way.

I think Interleaving has kicked in on mine for sure. Just happened the other day. Not happy really. I'm not seeing a performance problem but I'm worried it could get worse. My max rate was in the 50s anyway so Fibre pro was never an option for me. Just hope it holds steady from now on. I'd have thought it's a case of more people getting connected to my local fibre cab. Seen 3 BTO vans on my street in the last week.

      Out of interest.

What is the lowest max rate speed people would be happy with and still go for Fibre Pro ?

If I was going for it, I couldn't justify any lower than 70.

60 or above. If it was 55, then I'm not sure I could justify another 10 a month for it.

      50 or below, definitely not

60 on the nose, I'd certainly consider it.

70+ - take my money now.

What Max rate were you predicted ?
People have said that the prediction is closer to what you will achieve when the cab is at it's capacity, taking in to account cross talk from other connections.

Is FTTC that delicate that your top speed could drop from 70 now to 52 in the future? All because of more connections at the cabinet.
      Certainly hope not dude.
