SECONDly, MAY I post a reminder that BSkyB Q3 Results are due out tomorrow. No doubt there will be some announcements and press releases to go with it. Maybe some new and/or updated products and services info perhaps? A bit like what happened when Q2 results were out on 31 January - along came fibre broadband!

      Until tomorrow then...
I was told by the fibre team at sky last night that present fibre customers would be able to upgrade to pro soon-ish...but no clues as to actually when.

I see what you did there.

Its defo coming, just a little later than we were under the impression of.

Tomorrow would sound like a good launch date though, hopefully.

Oh yes don't disagree with you, but I always said tomorrow was a more logical date to announce something in tandem with the Q3 results. Maybe the marketing people will also get involved and launch some product advertising (I'd like to see Sky give BT, Plus.Net et al a run for their money)!

They need to get the checker working right before they can start advertising. It still says my line in incompatible...

Sky know how to advertise (who didn't see an Sky F1 ad?) so I'm sure they'll flood the airwaves/billboards when they are ready.

the checker has never worked if you are already on the SVBN but when you login to your account and click upgrades, you can see what you can change to.

Re: Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro Rumour

I signed up to get Sky Fibre Unlimited a day before the announcement of fibre pro, tried phoning up to see if I can change my order to unlimited pro but they told me I'd have to wait until the upgrades were available 'in the summer'.

Hopefully they'll want the extra revenue and push the upgrade option to be available as soon as possible.

I would suggest that you might be better off for the present time. There are a lot of rumours floating around behind the scenes and things could change for the better by the time the upgrade options become available in June/July.

It would be great if Sky could just tell us a specific date.....then I could relax instead of feverishly looking at this thread in the hope of potential news every time I go online.....

As I went from 21 meg down to an unstable 6.5 meg (with Be) when I moved in Jan, going up to 40 meg should keep me happy for a few a months!

Yep, more than happy with 40Mbit. However, will definitely be ordering the full 80 when possible
