      Sky ain't stupid.

If they start to lose signups, they will adapt the packages.

The one thing, they are good at is being shrewd, and silent.

It will happen, I would guarantee it.

They will either make a preferred Sky TV companion product, and give a free upgrade to the 40/2 people or make the 40/10 slightly cheaper if you have Sky TV

Look what has happened in the last 2 weeks

      40/2 launched
      80/20 rumour published
80/20 rumour denied by Sky Fibre team
      80/20 rumour confirmed

The problem with Sky (surprisingly as they are a communications company) is the distinct lack of communication.

Noone appears to know what is happening with Fibre, when, and how.

We should publish the rest of the current rumours, but we won't.

re: Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro Rumour

sorry for not reading all of the thread but is BT's package not 26 for 80/2 unlimited and sky 30

Come on sky you need to beat that deal say 80/20 for all customers at 20.

This was they would get a huge foothold in the market

My install is tomorrow so i will be happy going from 0.8mb to 40mb so i wont pay extra for 80/20 but if they want to give it to me for free

what like the one where sky will be giving free home brew kits if you take sky talk, skt tv and SBUF lol (thats a joke bw)

And just to put two pennies worth, I bet thos eon 40/2 will get upgraded to 40/10 by the end of May!

To be honest, its not the fact that Sky has not launched a 40/10 service it the fact they have so little confidence in the product. The launch of both the 40/2 and 80/10 service has been terrible. The info that is given by agents both in the fibre team and the customer service departments really needs to be addressed. They should either have a set script with factual info or say nothing at all, it damages the brand and customer experience.

Well i cant afford the new fibre prices (

It would be nice if they offered a 40/2 deal at 15 quid pm i would jump at that.

Tried getting the upgrade via retentions who could see it was available to me but the system just won't allow it - but worryingly they are still calling it a Fibre Migration when it's just an upgrade.

Absolutely agree with you, exactly what I have been writing & saying since the "original soft launch" (as I like to refer to it) a few weeks ago when there was a brief open season on ordering SBUF for some!

Compare and contrast with Apple's response and handling in the run up to the new iPad launch...
