    Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro Rumour

This is a discussion on Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro Rumour within the Sky Broadband (Fibre) Help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; I hope they do introduce 40/10, my wallet couldn't cope with 80/20 at it's current price...

Only way for current fibre customers to get 80/20 before June is to cease the current service and then sign up again - now been told that a few times.

You can certainly tell Sky have rushed all the Fibre services.

The 80/20 certainly seems like a knee jerk reaction to BT's announcement. But once again, the fire will be dampened because of the higher price.

Ipster: I'm on the same exchange as you - can you tell me if Infinity is available to you on the BT checker? It's not for me, I don't think my cabinet has been upgraded. :-/

Seems a bit extreme. I'll take my 40Mbit for a month or two then upgrade. My concern was getting a space in the cabinet in in the initial stages - now I have that I can sit back and let Sky bring me the fibre.

I would say this is the most sensible option, give them time to settle in and then do the upgrade (when they have worked out how to do it by the sounds of things). As you didnt pay for the connection or router is not biggie...

They have not fully updated the database for the exchange yet. I have only found a few streets that are able to order. I have sent you a PM!

Exactly, 40Mbit with free router and installation and 20 a month is fine for now
