afaik, all the fibre ones, but we have no proof and it is definitely not confirmed.

There is also a rumour of a brand new router. We won't publish any piccies (even though we know the model number and have seen it on a piccie) we don't want anyone to get into trouble etc

To get people to upgrade to fibre from standard ADSL or LLU they would need to offer a basic cheap package and 40/2 is perfect for that. Then 40/10 is suitable for everyday use. A large family, heavy users or those wanting a better upload the an upto 80/20 connection.

But then you also have to take into account how many people will be able to get speeds worthy of the upgrade to 80/20.

      40/2 for 20
      80/20 for 30

It's a no brainer if you want faster connections, but then again BT are at 26 for the same as 30

There has to be a sweetener in between.

The price difference from BTO for a 40/2 and 40/10 connections is hardly anything, they should dump the 40/2 they are launching with an old product.

The best thing they could do is offer 80/20 at 30 for non sky tv customers and 25 for those with sky TV this would would seem likea good deal to current sky customers and make them sign up to a new 12 month contract.

Thats exactly my point, Sky may as well offer 40/10 as the base product @ 20

Or like you said, 40/2 20 for non TV customers, 40/10 for TV customers.

But we are not the suits.

What we do know so far, Sky were taken aback by BT offering double speeds for nothing

Sky didn't think people would take it up etc etc

They need to offer the 3 products, competitively, otherwise people are gonna go elsewhere.

I totally agree, but everything indicates that 30 is the lead price. Unless they are going to surprise and go against the briefings.

The sweetener for me is not having to have a BT product in my house.
