      Interesting survey happening

I recieved a very interesting online survey today from company called T Poll asking lots of questions at first about my broadband usage and how i rated my current supplier. It then moved onto fibre broadband giving details of Sky,BT,Plusnet,Virgin and Talk Talk packages it then asked how you rated each company and the fibre products they have on the market and how likely you would be to suscribe to them.

At the next stage they revealed it was on behalf of Sky and as a customer wanted more information about how the Sky fibre could be improved and then gave options of what would encourage me to do so ( Obviously unaware that have had the service for a few months now lol) I of course said that need to offer full fibre service upto 80mb and faster 20mb upload.

It does show that Sky are interested on how Sky customers view their fibre product in the market place and would think is to look at making some changes

      Re: Interesting survey happening

how funny, just this minute got off the phone to sky as I wanted to cancel my Sky sport subscription as the football season is over (they ended up giving me sports for 1/2 price for 4 months)...and I was talking to the rep about fibre broadband and he said that Sky are polling people about broadband and what they use it for, so this survey/poll could be what he was talking about.

on a separate note asked to be put through to the Fibre Services Team (still a small team) to enquire about faster speeds and unfortunately they have no new info at this time.

      Re: Interesting survey happening

It seems Sky are a little worried about their Fibre product with all these rumours of a Pro 80/20 product, the survey I had last week and now have had a further one as a follow up which is a lot shorter asking about pricing of fibre products so looks like changes will be happening to products and maybe pricing

      Re: Interesting survey happening

That survey has been going around for a few months. Good to see that they are constantly researching to understand what the end user wants.
