Switching to Sky Fibre and Sky Talk at the same time

Hello all,Want to switch to Sky Fibre which will also involve switching to Sky Talk as well. My main concern is the migration process from my current BT line rental/talk package and O2 broadband (LLU). Due to work - I really can't afford to be disconnected without broadband and/or phone line for more than a few hours - will this happen? Assuming I go ahead with the move - can the openreach engineer visit for Fibre also enable my Sky Talk line at the same time - so I'm up and running on both services at the same time? (Would also appreciate users thoughts on Sky Talk vs BT generally too)Thanks!

I dont think the migration from O2 LLU to Sky Fibre will be an easy one. The migration path for this will appear to be : -

O2 LLU -> Sky LLU -> Sky Fibre in two steps
BT Line Rental -> Sky Line rental should be easy though.

I couldn't tell you for certain, but I'd imagine there may be some cut off involved, but again for how long, I don't know.

Best thing would be to ring up Sky and see how you fair.

      It should be relatively simple.

Looking at it from a simplistic perspective you would be moved simultaneously from BT Phone and O2 Broadband to Sky's LLU Service. The addition of fibre would be relatively easy.

From reading the comments from others on the trial who were on another provider, they could use their sky router on the ADSL side the day before the SBUF installation.
