      While Sky seemed to try to get BT to budge after their screwup with me they just won't move and I now have to wait till the 14th. Extremely annoyyed, not so much at Sky who as I said seemed to try but with the incompetent BT. What a waste of my day and lost income for nothing (and now another days lost income on the 14th too)

      Remember JD that any appointment dates will be for your exchange too.

      If Sky were to try to book an installation at a busy exchange, then the install time could be 3 or 4 weeks. Obviously BTO would seek to address this as it isn't just Sky that would be requesting their services, but it does occasionally happen.

      Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

      If the guy from BTO messes it up again, I would contact Ofcom to see what they suggest.

      It's one thing for Sky's order systems for SFU to be playing up, it is quite another for the BTO Engineer to get the address and telephone completely wrong.

      Doesn't surprise me tbh. My engineer wasn't given my phone number so had to phone (my m0bile) and ask for it when he was at the cab so he could connect the right line.

      well scubbie here's the thing...

      i know the contact number was wrong... because in the sky email I had....which told me delayed... they showed me the contact number used, and 2 numbers were switched round( it was a zero & a 9), so I rang sky up 1st time to find out exactly why it is delayed...they told me the engineer told them my number is a dis-connected number & the address IS incorrect...which is a lie because I had recieved my new sky router through the same address...i checked the address that i gave sky, it is identical to my current address...not only that there is a big welcome to sign out side my street...saying the name of my street...

      So then I recieved a sky email re-scheduled install date 14th may, and the contact number was messed up again....so I called sky back up to try & correct the contact number...instead i told them to put in my house phone line number instead...which they said they will add it to the installation...

      I then recieved a second sky email re-schedule install date, same date... and the same incorrect number, i gave them previously...

      OK... i have tryed to get a copy of the emails i have recieved hold on:
