      Well BTO came, went, did a good job and were friendly and as accommodating as possible.

      So before:

      Very happy with this.

      Out of interest is the sync speed you can see via the router accurate? I ask because it's showing 39999kbps / 1997 kbps which obviously is great but I was surprised it was this high and expecting something nearer the quoted 28.8mbps I was quoted.

      Well, you could always say "stuff it" and go to BT Infinity, that may change their tune.

      However, that tactic may lead to them saying "kthxbye" and you ending up HAVING to go to BT. Up to you if you fancy that strategy.

      Was quoted 40Mb by Sky, BT estimate is 52, max attainable rate for my line is 80.

      I will ring them later...and see what they say... i'll give my contact number...then try to get them to change to a sonner time than 14th
      may...its way too far away... for a fault of theirs...
      mind you I did scream out... when they told me 14th may...

      This post was not for after gettting sky fibre... it was originally a drum rolling post...for people who are schedulled for sky fibre installations prior to the dates only...

      You need to be ringing them *now*, to get them to reschedule BT *asap* and not 14th May.

      it can be if the speedtest server has alot of connections to it
