39996 kbps wireless is very erratic between 24mb and 32mb i've just done a wired connection and its only 27mb ? i'm not getting anywhere near the 40mb i was hoping for. its far more than 3-4mb i was getting so fibre is a success for me but the speed is a little disappointing.

mine hasn't changed from day 1 and afaik DLM is constantly running on fibre.

several things could be affecting your speedtest, low spec'd computer, AV software, lots of traffic on the speedtest (try london or massey in france) <---try this first

Still no show.......Was worried so logged onto SkyChat and spoke to an advisor (My Sky no longer shows the Engineer visit). The advisor checked my account and confirmed that the visit is still scheduled for today between 8 - 1

So at least i know he is supposed to be still coming just wish it was NOW...LoL

So, now I've done my jobs, lets begin. Installed at 8.50. Took about 30 mins in all. Got no phone call, he just turned up. I was ready though. He moved my master socket closer to the power sockets, which was a big help. Did his thing and got him to wall mount it as my little lad gets in to everything. Then he nipped down the road to do the work on the cab, came back and jobs a goodun as they say. Max att rate is 56 and syncs at 39999/1997. All in all very happy

ps Check out my new signature.

That' a wireless test. Happy day's.

Why not. Have they said so?. It's only 11.40 now. They work until 5, my man said so. Even if he's late he could get there still. Chin up.

When I was at school, that meant there was still 1 hour 18 minutes of the allotted time period left for BT to actually arrive.
