I don't have anyone in my family who can do it which is a shame. Money is tight at the moment so I just as well forget about it.

All installed! BTO engineer just left. He was here for an extra half an hour as at first the laptop wasn't connecting to the internet at all. He phoned Sky and was almost at the point where they were going to cancel the install. Luckily I had my iPad and suggested connecting through there, like magic it worked! It turns out that my 3 year old Vista laptop's network adaptor needs updating to work with the new router. A word of warning for anyone who finds they can't connect

Was previously syncing at 3.5 Meg on ADSL, here is what my first Speed Test result looks like through a homeplug. The router is syncing at 39998 kbps / 1999 kbps

      Very happy!

Your order was accepted on 12/04/2012 An engineer appointment has been arranged for 27/04/2012. The engineer should arrive between 8am and 1pm.
Your equipment has been dispatched and should be delivered within 3-5 working days from: 20/04/2012 As soon as your Broadband is activated, you'll be able to enjoy the online services offered by Sky Broadband.
Your old service will then be turned off.

This is what is currently stated on my order tracking page

Please remember that this is a public forum. Someone could take this as seriously offensive. It could even result in a visit from some people wearing Blue Uniforms.
