i'm beginning to wonder if it's really worth it.
Health and Safety is a get out jail free card, mention that and you are bulletproof.

do it yourself if you are confident or get someone else cheaper....do you have any friends/family in the telecoms business sector

might be worth looking at the moving the master socket your self as cost wise i'm lucky it in a good spot for me in the living room but if i had to move it i'd do it my self i had to install an aeriel for digital tv and install a splitter to move it all around the house installing 2 wires got it i'm sure i could move a master socket if needed

dunno whether to call sky, and confirm the installation date...that IT IS today...and that no BTO engineer has even called me...yet...this is seriously frustrating the hell out of me...

I can't find the master socket though, that's the thing. the engineer said he's never come across anything like it before. He says there's got to be a junction box or master socket in the loft but it's nowhere to be seen and it's very very difficult to look as it's been converted.

I don't have anyone in my family who can do it which is a shame. Money is tight at the moment so I just as well forget about it.
