We Skype them twice a month and sometimes have problems. I do no Australia are are trying to improve there broadband. Many people use wireless dongles with a capped broadband usage. The distances they need to cover are massive so Broadband is very expensive over there.

i cant say websites load quicker coming from a 4mb, which is not a moan, but actual throughput is superb and i dont need worry about hogging the bandwidth cause their is plenty spare for iplayer, youtube, etc

With a ping as low as yours I'd say you would see a difference. Tomorrow can't come quick enough for me. Hope it goes smoothly.

Yeah you aren't far from me at all I am in Bradford.

For the last couple of days I have noticed quite a alot of open reach vans at my local cab so I think quite a few people are taking it up. Not sure if they are sky customers though. You are lucky you are getting it tomorrow! Not jealous at all I have to wait until Monday and it seems like an age away!

I am looking forward to seeing your speedtest result as well. What are they predicting you will be at?

One thing I have noticed over the last couple of days with the flurry of people getting activated is, how similar and consistant their speeds are. All looks good to me and glad I waited for sky to bring it out

Gotta love how high pings will eventually be a thing of the past!
