      Spot on, it's not FTTx anything at the moment until the copper line is replaced.

      Is anyone else who managed to successfully order Fibre on Friday now finding its saying 'Unavailable' when using the address checker?

      I hope Sky didnt make a mistake and let me order Fibre by error my postcode is FTTC available however.

      Don't worry, I'm in the same boat. Although I am a little frustrated, I picked the 27th April, only for them to arrange it for the 30th cause BTO couldn't do the 27th.

      That's strange that they moved your date, I've checked my order and its still showing 27/04/12 for the engineer visit. Did your date change on the order tracking page?

      Yeah, when I go to the tracking page it says "engineer will visit on 30th april between 1pm - 6pm" and I can reschedule if I like (gives me various days to choose). I phoned them up and the woman said we can see you requested the 27th but BTO could not do this date, so they moved it to the monday. I'll keep the 30th for the time being. One of my mates has also ordered, he ordered before me but seems to be behind in the order process, still awaiting confirmation of when the engineer will come out, although I believe thats because he has selected a later date than me i.e May 1st.

      I'm another of us who cannot get Fibre, but in my case the person on the phone thought it was because Openreach haven't updated their system... the houses across from me can order, but as we're a new build Openreach haven't updated it all yet.

      It's all very frustrating... I'm plodding along at 2.6Mbps and across from me they are getting 38Mbps+ *grumble grumble*

      Has anyone got any idea how I can hassle Openreach to update their database? I'm connected to the same cabinet as the others... just until last week according to BT Wholesale we apparently couldn't even get broadband (but I've been connected since Christmas!).

      I'm one of us who has 100mbps cable from Virgin Media but just wishes they would go bust.. it's dire..

      I will maintain my 9mbps sky LLU link in the hope that someday the cab which is about 10 metres from my house (the other side of next door) is enabled.. Of course if it means I get faster living next door then I will be forced to buy that too

      The hunt for real fibre continues..

      I was speaking with someone who has a business line with VM and doesn't experience the issues of capping.

      I don't know the price difference, but have you considered this as an option?

      Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
      Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms
