Did they say why the delay or more importantly when they expect Openreach or Sky engineers to enable it?

If you dont have an NTE5 master socket one will be fitted and if there is no power socket near the master socket they can relocate the master socket if this is viable or run a data extension cable from the master socket to a more convenient place to fit the modem.
The BTO engineer will also switch your line at the pcp cab to route to the new fiber cab where the VDSL equipment is.
A man with the know how at the moment i have my router installed in the bedroom as thats the master socker i used to have it installed near my tv in the living room but the speed was barely 1 meg so when i connected it via the master socket it went up to 3 so i ran Ethernet cables thru-out my apartment and left it connected in the bedroom with the master socket connected and even moved my house phone there as i could not stick my face plate back in to get the wiring working in the apartment so anyhow hope the bto guy sorts my mess out thanks alot guys

Its not always easy, i've got through and had a few chats now. Today I used the number on the right of the screen when placing an order 08442 411 818.

Got through to a basic sales person and asked to be put through to the Fibre optic team.

Sometimes you hit a brick wall if you get the wrong person on the phone, so try again.

Its been a fustrating week but perseverence reaps reward.....Kevin (Fibre Team Manager) said I'd easily been one of the most persistant customers going on the call logs etc
