For those of you saying FTTC is enabled where you are but Sky Fiber Unlimited says unavailable you have to remember it takes time for Sky to get their equipment connected up to the BTO FTTC Fiber at the exchange and also in some cases upgrade their equipment in the exchange but im sure Sky will be working to get everyone that would have FTTC avail trhough BT Infinity etc to have access to Sky Fiber as soon as possible so its just a waiting game.

I doubt people will have to wait very long, maybe a few weeks at most id imagine in most cases, i guess 1 of the main reasons for the pre-reg site was so they know where the demand is and im sure they wont take any longer than they have to getting peoples exchanges ready to accept Sky Fiber so just keep checking online for availability.

697mb well that takes about 2-3 minutes lol. However Anytime + doesnt max out a 40meg connection. It only uses about 12 so that movie will take about 8 minutes.

      Hi guys,

I just ordered the fibre service this morning but when I was on the order page, after indicating that I wanted to add the service to my account, the checkout increased the price I pay by the full 20. I was under the impression that my current broadband (Sky Unlimited) would be cancelled and the new fibre service would take its place - so I should only be paying an extra 12.50 a month. Am I getting myself confused or is the Sky website a bit ill-designed?

Its probably not clever enough and as you will have the ADSL service on until the fibre install date it has caluclated both together. I wouldnt worry about it. It will sort itself out.

The 7.50 for BB will be cancelled when you go live.
