Estimated 40mb, free instal etc you defo have to have line rental I wish to order it without sky line rental fair play they tried but it will not go through the system. My line rental is paid for me so don't want that stuck on my bill too - whats mad is Sky last week offered me line rental for 1p for the year lol well time to sit back have a think Sky or BT which is a no brainer for most of you Sky = no hassle BT = some p2p traffic shaping, 18mths and who knows what they may change in that period - that said the infinity at the mo is being loved by those on usenet. Decisions decisions - happy for all those that can get it - its been a long enough wait :-)

It probably means i'm one of the first along with others who have the same time to get my order in. the 8-1pm slot will soon go. The next one after after the 27th was the 30th so no installing broadband on a weekend i thought they would give options for a weekend install. Sky have already sent me 4 emails regarding my upgrade better to be informed than not knowing whats happening i suppose.

Hi guys, just signed up but been lurking for a good while

Pre-registered several times and made several calls trying to get my order in all through the week........so fustrating!

Anyways just went to order online and can get the full 40 speed wise BUT it says i have to pay 50 set up fee!

Just spoke to them and someone is calling back within the hour. I dont have broadband (was stuck in contract) with SKY but have FULL Sky HD/Phone/Line rental

You would think that with the deal from BT they would drop all setup charges!

Anyone else paying up the setup fees??

I'm with sky and have been for the last 2 years and I've never seen speeds higher then 3meg think it's something to do with the new apartment I live in is something. Anyway the only reason I upgraded to fibre was to get a little faster speed but to be honest and not expecting miracles as if I can only get 3 meg normal I'll prob get maybe 7-8 meg with fibre ??

Don't quote me on this but i'm sure they advise a minimum of 13mb. Not sure where I read that.

I can only get 6Mbps with Sky Unlimited but Sky Fibre is predicting 35Mbps so you might be surprised

Depends where you are from your cabinet, not exchange.

Some folks here have gone from 2Mb to the prospect of 40Mb!
