      1. Goto sky.com/broadband
      2. Select whether your a new or existing client
      3. Click 'Check my line'

It will show Sky Fibre upgrade option if you have a compatible exchange and cabinet. If BT line check sows Fibre being an option for you and you are currently on Sky Unlimited, then Sky line check should give you the Fibre upgrade option.

      Nope, I get this:
Your current phone line is not compatible with Sky Broadband and Talk. To take Sky Broadband and Talk, please use our address checker to see if you can also order a compatible Sky Talk phone line.

Address checker says: Sky Broadband Everyday Lite and Unlimited are available

      1. Are you currently on sky unlimited?

      2. What's the max speed on you line according to the BT website line check?

      1. Yes, have been for years
      2. Superfast fibre optic broadband Great news! You are eligible for superfast BT Infinity.
      32.1Mb download
      5.9Mb upload
      3. Exchange is Truro in cornwall if that helps

Just spoke to an agent, she has confirmed it's not availble in my area, I'm so hecked off right now, The exchange went live two weeks ago but I waited for sky as I was impressed with them, not any more, looks like I'm off to BT as much as I hate this.

      Re: Believe in better

Sounds wrong to me. BT checker will validate that the exchange and cabinet support FTTC. If you are on Sky Unlimited, it means you are also on an exchange supporting Sky LLU. Should therefore support Sky Fibre.

Maybe wait for the forum experts to come online in case there's something that I missed, but I don't think so.

      Re: Believe in better

I have SBUF and it's telling me that I can only have Lite or unlimited ADSL so I'd say the checker isn't all that reliable.

Its not just Sky LLU, you need to be on connected the newer Sky DSLAMS in the exchange as well.
