      Hang on it is live!

      You have to run the line speed checker to find it (if available on your line).

      It only mentions 40 download, nothing about the upload speed. So that's obviously just the 40/2 profile then. Looks like I'm going to BT!

      i was but this is unlimited and cant afford the price hike on BT, as I'm with sky and have sky talk etc it was easier to justify a 12 jump rather than allthe hassle of changing lines etc and entering an 18 month contract

      Just ran it, no metion of fibre for me, in fact doing a phone number search brings up that I can't have sky broadband which I can as I'm already on it and also fibre is deffinatly avaible to me, guess I'll give them the rest of today, have't got time to sort anything now anyway

      Fair enough. BT is 4.50 more expensive, for the faster/unlimited profile

      BT: 26 plus 10.75 = 36.75

      Sky: 20 plus 12.25 = 32.25

      I'd pay the extra for the fast connection.

      Can somebody please post a link to the checker they used to make sure I'm using the right one because I've just checked a bunch of numbers all on sky's network and they all came back saying only ADSL availble, getting annoyed now if this is ment to be showing.

      I had to sign in to my sky account first then go to broadband upgrades using my address instead of my landline number.
