I did that today! Infact, i've been pestering them once a week since I was installed to trial the faster speeds.

No joy tho, was told that it's still being trialled in-house.

Fortune favours the brave....and all that.

Wouldn't hurt to try tho, keep the pressure up on 'em.

I'll try 'come on, I was the 4th person to be called and the 3rd to accept in the country outside of in house staff, I'll be doing you a favour'

Could you image the outrage if trialists got faster speeds and then the general release

With Sky's ***** poor marketing of Fibre, does anyone outside of this forum even know about it?

That's interesting about the 30a profile. Is there any link you can share (on BT Wholesale) where this profile is defined? I'd be interested to know more, especially if 200 is technically feasible over FTTC, rather than FTTP.

I did laugh this morning at some of the articles (that were pre-written) talking about Sky launching Fibre, when they hadn't.

It's feasible, but like all xDSL standards, an "upto" speed which will vary on different lines, depending on the quality, length and amount of external interference on the twisted copper pair running from the cab, to the premises

FYI, FTTP is capable of 1gbps.

Wikipedia has a small section detailing the different profiles.
