      Or can anyone clarify this?

hmmmm...also less than 2 hours until 9PM...will be unhappy tommorow, if theres no phone call tonite...

really hate it when people promise to call at a certain time... and they never do...so frustrating...
It is possible that they may do pre-orders for the service from the 12th, Their website always stated orders online at sky.com/broadband

      Re: Sky fibre broadband

lol... i just found i live 732m distance from Bridgend exchange....but 966metres by road...

      OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just had a phone call from sky again!!!!!

From the scottish guy I spoke to on Saturday(I just found out his name is Kevin), he called at 7:59!!! Good timing!

The other scottish guy I spoke to was called Jamie....he WAS the guy who told me about the 27 april push back(which kevin told me Jamie was correct!)...but kevin just told me the 27th April push back was for over the phone orderings....but I think kevin just waivered the delays for me(hopefully he should waiver yours too gorebrush, and any others from Bridgend here), and hopefully he will be calling me back on Thursday/Friday between 5PM -9PM....I told him i had a digital answering machine.. so he could leave a message there...if i was not in...

Kevin, also told me about 2 other people, aswell as myself, from Bridgend who want to get Sky Fibre Broadband.

So...It was the call i was waiting for at 3:22PM!!!

      Re: Sky fibre broadband

Just a polite request folks: The Fibre team is only small and would not be able to cope with lots of phone calls.

Please refrain from posting the number as they would not be able to cope should the number of people following this thread all decide to call at once. As it turns out it appears that the number was a direct one to another team.

I know we all want SBUF yesterday, but please be careful.

      Thanks.

I've edited the various posts to remove the number which was posted.

The true number was posted very early on but it was removed. I thought that perhaps this was a new one for the dept.

It is less than 2 days till SBUF is launched now.

      Re: Sky fibre broadband

its supposed to be threepwood, but nvrmind...you should go get to updated versions, so much better... they remastered monkey island 1 & 2, better graphics, monkey island 2 remastered is available in steam...3 & 4 were pretty good too...

I also, remember back when i owned a Commodore amiga computer, in the 90s, i had monkey island 2 for that machine, but it took 12 floopy disks to run!! I didnt think of using a HD disk(as it was HD installable at the time) as they were probably way too expensive to buy at that time, i hadnt even heard of a Hard drive back then...until i got a cheapy win98 computer(which was probably about 400 when i had it) back in 98/99...

Now i got a spanking 2 yr old 4 quad intel processor, that i can't expand the memory with, tryed 8gb it doesnt like it! Stuck with 4GB for a while...
