      ooh, spill the beans.

initially i was happy with the 2504n, but now I want 1Gbit ports, USB port(s) and GHz wireless hence the reason for my airport, so handy having the ability to share a external HDD (and printer when I get round to getting a USB adapter) between devices

I have seen an alternative router that sky are testing, whilst I don't want to break anyones confidence..the higher spec isnt much more than the current router... not to say they couldn't improve on it before its release. Or maybe they have more than one in testing...

Re: The BTO FTTC 80/20 Product Variant

I quite fancy a bit of 'Bonding'

      (line bonding that is....)

But Meh, my max is going to be 45mb anyway and with the amount of errors on my line already, i doubt i'd get a higher sync.

I have not had any disconnects which is great. snr still holding at 3.8db.

I'm looking forward to the increased upload, I think i'll hit 7.5mb.

It's strange, My distance to the exchange isnt that far and my cabinet is only 250 meters away. Is there any test you can do to tell you the length of the line to the cabinet?

I forgot to ask the engineer

I think my line has a fault somewhere, either where the conservatory was put over the top of the BT line or on the pole.....
