Certainly a vast improvment on 2.8 when I was on Unlimited. The PCP To Postcode spreadsheet suggested my uplift was 12.91 so I thought I would only just get to 36. Seeing the figures for attainable rate was quite a surprise.

Did you have any problems hacking the modem?

Im a bit stumped, followed the instructions and i cannot access the modem on 192.168.1.1, Changed the NIC with correct ip's, but keep getting "this webpage cannot be displayed"

Any advice would be appreciated. Its a HG612 revision 3b

      Cheers

Mine is also Rev 3b, I had no problems at all.

      Static IP of 192.168.1.100

      Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway & DNS Servers, leave black.

Confirm setting, wait 10-15 seconds, then continue following the instructions.

EDIT: If you still get no joy, first try flushing you DNS Cache, before commencing the above.

Open command prompt, and type ipconfig /flushdns

Also, make sure you have no other connections active WiFi or LAN.

Are you using a direct connection from the LAN2 port on the modem to your pc?

so is the modem located on the cable that your old adsl face plate sat on? the reason I ask is that I have a BT installed ADSL point thats in my study but the traditional "master socket" is in the hall. I'd like the vdsl modem installed in my study with the rest of my gear!

For those that are interested, updated this with my latest line stats / GNUPlot graphs after switching to the 80/20 product.
