Between 8-4pm.Keep an eye on your phone as i was first called at about 3pm on Friday and they said they would ring again Monday as my details needed updating,i asked them to ring Monday at 8am.......................8.01am my mobile rang good as gold.Fibre customer services were brilliant with me because of my job im hard to get hold of and they were well patient and rang when i asked them to ring at a certain time becuase i explained security issues where i work.

Hmm didn't realise they only ring until 4pm though that makes sense - not a fully operating product yet so wouldnt be full compliment of sales staff trying..

I'm here until 8:20am most days before I have to leave for work, but hoping for a phone call at 8:01 tomorrow is wishful thinking

My parents and brother are both in fibre enabled areas with full Sky services and signed up on both old site and new site but still no call to offer the service so there is obviously some other spec that they require before offering the trial.

      Re: Sky Fibre hopeful

I got to know Gail from "Sky Fibre Optic Services" quite well lol, first call on the Friday about 3.15pm took 25 minutes of terms and conditions and all that blah but right at end she couldnt book my install because my details needed to be updated in another department who werent available. So Gail rang me again on Monday morning at 8.01 to say my details still hadnt been updated but would be,so i arranged a time for her to ring me again on the Monday and she did and everythings sorted.Gail also give a direct number for Sky Fibre Optic Broadband which im sure a few other people have on here.Got to say Sky fibre optic services were brilliant as i explained that because of my job i cant have a mobile phone, well i can but only at certain times and they bent over backwards to accomodate me

Isnt it just a trial until the service is launched in April? Think its just luck if you get call and ask if you would like the "trial"

Yes it is a trial, but it is also a fully working service.

There are going to be improvements, so early adopters won't be getting the full speeds that have been banded around, but there is a possibility that anyone who has signed up might get priority treatment once the product is launched properly next month.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

      Re: Sky Fibre hopeful

Well I've had no call today as my wife would have told me by now

Though, I just read that another user apparently rang and asked to cancel as he wanted BT Infinity - magically he could then have Sky Fibre.

Tempted to try this route but it's probably tempting fate.
