I used to live is Burnt Oak. I just checked my old address and it doesn't have Fibre available yet.

Perhaps one day I'll get it where I am now.
I have been looking for my cabinet. I've seen it today. No where near the other green boxes. But we are served by overhead cables for the phone. Dunno if that makes a difference. The old cabinets are on colombia ave and the new box is on bacon lane.

Forgive me if i am wrong but i think you may be confusing which cabs are bt's, after looking around there with google street view i can see there are alot of green boxes around (4 on columbia ave) but i suspect these are VM/Cable boxes and nothing to do with your phone line.
I dont know which box your line comes from without checking your post code on the PCP checker but PCP number 11 is on bacon lane at the junction with The Chase so im asuming that is prob the PCP the fiber box you say you have seen is for, i have marked the PCP 11 location here 51.60515,-0.276053 - Google Maps

There will be a fiber box for each PCP that is being enabled and they should be next to or prety near to each other location permiting. If your line comes from another bt PCP other than number 11 then you would need to find its location and that PCP would need a fiber box linked to it too.

Hope this is of some help.

      Re: Sky Fibre hopeful

Those cable cabinets were installed back in '97/'98 by Videotron (unless NTL/Virgin replaced them). It was just after the local council had renewed some of the local pavements too. Net result was the new pavements had a wiggly line of tarmac going through it all.

BTO use telegraph poles and overhead cables in this area. FTTC will use these copper wires without any major issues.

P.S. I used to live in Broomgrove Gardens and my Dr's surgery was in Bacon Lane and later some of it moved into Edgeware Hospital. I have no idea where it is now.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

Yup, that's how they are refering to themselves!
The 2 missed calls were from a guy, the call I received was from a lady. So that's 2 I know of, I guess that constitutes a 'Team'

If it was the Fibre Team, they should call back, they reached me on the third attempt.
