That is one of the great unknowns.

Any difference in the T & Cs for Fibre broadband from ADSL?

At the moment Sky are keeping tight lipped about anything to do with their new SBUF product. I have searched the website periodically for a new set of Y&Cs relating specifically to the Fibre product, however I haven't seen anything yet.

Since we already know that the Password Generating tools work on this model Sagem, I would expect it to be a simple task to find out once it all happens.

also today received a letter from sky detailing my sky package. within this letter there is a line that reads:

.....we estimate the download speed your line can support will be between 74.4Mbps and 40.9Mbps

So it is basically the same router they have been giving out for months. Probably with different firmware.

      Re: Sky Fibre connection

I don't know what the current firmware is, but as it will be connecting using PPPoE rather than PPPoA, it will be different.

Just quickly checking the forums, and it appears that 5.23.1a4N is the latest version for the Sagem 2504N on an ADSL connection.

      Thanks for posting the photos....

Interesting they say your line can support 74.4 / 40.9 rather than our full full 40/2 package. I do hope they launch with 80/20? Fingers crossed for the 17th... dont forget about us when you get connected to your super fast sky fibre whoppppie broadband

I'd say more cost effective to simply push out a firmware...
